Translate PDFs and scans into editable Word documents
Convert a PDF, scan or image, then translate the Word file into any of 111 languages. Paragraphs and tables stay where they are.
How it works
-
Add your document
Convert a PDF, scan or image to Word, or upload a Word file (.docx) you already have.
-
Choose languages
Pick up to 5 languages at once, for one document or several.
-
Check the price, then download
See the exact credits first. Each translation is a Word file you can edit.
What stays the same
Kept in the translation
- Every paragraph and table cell in its place, with its paragraph style
- Headers, footers and footnotes, translated too
- Paragraphs that are only numbers, left as they are
- Arabic, Hebrew, Persian, Urdu and other right-to-left languages, set right to left in Word
- Names of people and organizations: the document’s own translation when it gives one, otherwise written in the new language with the original in brackets
Good to check
- Translations are made by machine and can contain mistakes. Check important documents before you rely on them.
- Each paragraph takes the formatting of its first words, so a single bold or italic word inside a sentence isn’t kept.
- A scan is translated as it was read. Check the conversion first; a misread word is translated as it was misread.
